Bio: My first introduction into the world of firearms came in 2006. After shooting a rented 1911 in .45ACP, I became hooked and wanted more. I started by taking the Basic Pistol course offered at Rosedale that I now teach with my other NRA certified instructor friends. My instructor was also active in USPSA action shooting, and I soon joined him in those competitions. Through the years since, I have broadened my shooting diciplines in the areas of action rifle, skeet, and tactical shotgun to name a few. It would be my pleasure to be your instructor for the NRA Basic Pistol course taught here at Rosedale.

Bio: My primary interests in the shooting sports are rifle / carbine, handgun and tactical shotgun shooting. I also enjoy reloading metallic cartridges and load development for specific rifles / calibers. All my life I have been interested in the strategic use of weapons of all manner for self-defense, including empty handed and less-lethal methods as well. Since the age of 18, I have been an an avid firearms and edged weapons collector. At the age of 5, my father started taking me on many hunting, fishing and camping trips to build and sharpen my outdoorsman skills. It was during these experiences that I came to love and appreciate wildlife. It is an honor to be able to teach others to safely handle firearms and to work with my fellow instructors that we may help to install a love for this wonderful sport. May God bless all.
